TITANIC ICE TRAYS

Talk about making a word play with the best grossing film of all time, Titanic. The Gin & Titonic Ice Tray will definitely bring a smile to your guests faces as they see something totally different that keeps their drinks chilled - each $7.49 purchase consists of four ocean liners and an equal number of icebergs. The only thing you’re missing is some gin, Leonardo DiCaprio and a (naked) Kate Winslet for a perfect, cozy party. Hopefully drunk guests won’t end up choking on the Titanic by accident…

i-CHAIR

If you’ve managed to wait until the very last minute to pick up a gift for your pre-teen or teen girl, then you might want to check out PBTeen. They usually have several cute products that sync up with your gadgets. This time they have the Painted Dot iChair. I’m sure you can guess what it’s meant to hook up to by the name of the chair itself. The cute polka dotted seat looks pretty and hooks up to any MP3 player as well as other audio devices.

NOKIA 5800

Nokia have been the top seller of mobile phones for a long time now and want to revive the market with their Nokia 5800 touch screen phone - their effective iPhone killer. From Q3 2007 to Q3 2008 they lost 15.4% of the market share, dropping to 35%, due mainly to the iPhone. With the release of the Apple iPhone it has caused a ripple in the market and mobile phone manufacturers have realised that they need to raise their game. Blackberry soon have out their Storm 9500 (bottom of top 10) which will be a hot gadget of 2009 but should be available before (so not in the list). Sony have their X1 touch phone out which, if it was running Google Android, would be number 1 - as it is gorgeous. But since the X1 has Windows Mobile 6 and is therefore slow and clunky, it’s not. HTC have release their G1 which albeit has the best mobile OS in my opinion, Android, doesn’t leverage it and certainly isn’t attractive - no where near the iPhone killer it was marketed as

PARKING PROBLEMS?

This is a small city car offering a combination of public and personal transportation. This car has been designed for people who suffer from inadequate parking space in their area. Now the time has to come to day goodbye to parking lots and get ready to say hello to hang outs. This stylish LIFT car concept can adjust itself in the aerial parking without demanding any extra space. Once you are done with your work, you can just drop it down and simply drive home. There is only one street smart solution to the soaring traffic problems and that is LIFT car concept.

MAZDA KAAN

Electric fields and textures seen in the nature have given birth to Mazda Kaan designed by 6 innovative designers. This electric car is especially deigned to compete the E1 races. In order to reach 250 mph without any harmful emissions, Mazda Kaan uses a sub-level electro conductive polymer that powers the electric cars in a modern world. The design and look of the car is mind blowing. By sitting inside the car, one can feel that victory is for sure. So, let’s see how far this Mazda is going to take its future victory.

INSECTA

Insecta, as the name suggests is something related to insects, exactly what the designer Shao Yung Yeh thought of while designing this new revolutionized car. Inspired by a grasshopper he designed this car with such a unique combination of colors and design. This is a battery powered personal vehicle that looks much like a grasshopper with its legs connected to the central chassis as a thorax. Just as the abdomen of the grasshopper, a battery pack is fixed at the bottom pretending it more like an insect. With zeal to create something alive, the designer has developed this product that is light weight, agile and eco friendly.

VENTURI VOLAGE

This can be one of the most incredible cars you might have seen recently. Venturi Volage is a fully electric roadster that boasts 295 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque. Volage is indeed a head-turner with plenty of unbelievable features such as Active Wheel Technology that empowers each wheel with a significant amount of additional control over the vehicle. This concept is planned for 2012 but because of the impressive looks who doesn’t want to be the driver and master of this unleashed man made wonder. To sum up, Venturi Volage is a wonderfully crafted speed car concept that definitely deserves success and fame.

I-PHONE 2.1 BETA

Who knows how much this is worth, but there's a lot of chatter flying around today about some text strings in the beta release of iPhone OS 2.1 that make reference to an "iPod2,1." Seeing as the current iPod touch is designated "iPod1,1," that's a pretty strong hint that a new model is coming.

FLYING FERRARI

Moller International has announced that it will be producing a flying Ferrari of sorts, based on the Ferrari 599 GTB. The vehicle "will use eight thrusters to take off vertically, hover, and fly forward at 150mph." Expecting to shell out around $787,000 on it's first released.
This car features a specially designed hybrid fuel & electric power system for the thrusters, and will be able to fly up to altitudes of 5,000 feet and go about 75 miles in the air before running empty.

PENTAX CAMERA

Pentax's K-m (or K2000, as it were) may be geared towards beginners, but that's not to say it's lacking in the performance department. The DSLR was recently apprehended and tested at PhotographyBLOG, and apparently they had a really tough time finding anything negative to say. In fact, it was deemed "another excellent addition to Pentax's DSLR range, seamlessly slotting in below the K200D." With the combination of ease-of-use, mid-range features and a low price, critics found themselves in awe of the value proposition. It was also noted that the small size was appealing to those appalled by bulky high-end cameras, and the image quality is about as good as one could expect for under seven bills (with a lens). Don't take our word for it, though -- tap the read link and check out the drool for yourself.

ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN BIKE

Sure, it won't stabilize itself, it doesn't sport a cute wicker basket, and it has a six figure price tag, but the 2009 Optibike OB1 is on sale now -- and if you're a typical Engadget reader, you're probably considering four or five of them for you and your family. Designed by award winning bike designer Jim Turner, this lithium-ion battery-powered hybrid features a GPS, fully integrated PDA (to keep track of the vehicle's performance), two hours of battery life, and -- for those of you who like to kick it old school -- pedals. You know, for pedaling. Be sure to order yours now -- only twenty-four OB1s will be manufactured this year. The price tag is $13000.
